Yeedesk is the leading college preparation service provider based in Silicon Valley, CA. We are a new and rapidly growing company
with significant connections with high schools, teachers and students in China. We are currently seeking the following talented
people to join us:
Certified College Admissions Planner/Consultant
If you are a certified educational planner (CEP) with IECA or another professional organization in the US, you are welcome to join us. Qualifications:
- You are a certified member with IECA, NACAC or another professional association.
- You possess at least three (3) years hands-on experience with college admissions planning services with a 99% acceptance rate.
- You are currently offering one of those programs: an initial consultation, a comprehensive program or a smaller package (by semester or year).
- You are passionate about working with Chinese students in China and willing to grow with us.
- You are very communicative and patient with students.
- You can be flexible with Yeedesk’s standard programs by adopting our programs and providing your own programs.
- Preferably you are experienced with international students. Having experience with Chinese students will be ideal.
Responsibilities:
You will have the following responsibilities as Yeedesk’s consultant:
- Offer Yeedesk’s college admissions planning programs to our students in China via phone, email, IMs and web/video conferencing.
- Provide feedback about the programs and adjust them whenever needed.
- Help Yeedesk enhance the standard program structure.
This is a part time position with a potential to convert into a full time role.
College Admissions Planner/Consultant
If you are an experienced educational planner in the US, you are welcome to join us. Qualifications:
- You possess at least three (3) years hands-on experience with college admissions planning services with a very high acceptance rate and a good tracking record.
- You are currently offering one of those programs: an initial consultation, a comprehensive program or a smaller package (by semester or year) .
- You specialize in one of the six following areas: essay writing, letters of recommendation, writing personal statements, teaching English in writing and oral practice, college interviews, course and extracurricular activities planning and talent development.
- You have attended professionally directed conferences, college counseling institutes or workshops.
- Ideally you have a minimum of five (5) years experience working in a high school as a college counselor or for a college or university as an admission officer.
- Preferably you have a credential or Master’s degree in counseling or a counseling related discipline.
- Ideally you are a registered member with a national or regional educational planning organization in the US as a college counselor.
- Preferably you are experienced with international students. Having experience with Chinese students will be ideal.
- You are passionate about working with Chinese students in China and willing to grow with us.
- You are very communicative and patient with students.
